Feel more confident with automatic purchase insurance in case of sudden and unexpected damage, destruction, and burglary (forcible entry involved). Valid for goods purchased at full price.

- Make the purchase with Luminor Black card: by using the physical card, e-wallet, or making an online purchase with card details.
- Save the purchase receipt or invoice.
- The insurance is valid for as long as you have a Luminor Black card, but no longer than 180 days from the date of purchase.
- The coverage applies to durable goods, such as electronic devices, furniture, jewellery, eyewear, sports gear, and tools.

Broken and fractured bone insurance

Luminor Black is with you every step of the way – even at home! In case of broken or fractured bones, receive financial support of EUR 100.

- Applies to Luminor Black cardholders.
- You’ll need to submit X-ray, CT scan or MRI scan results.
- No medical receipts or cost-related documents are required.

What to do in case of an insured event?

Travel insurance:
- If you have an insurable accident abroad and need coverage for medical expenses, contact our travel assistance partner UAB OPS International by phone +371 6755 8899 or eclaims.eu;
- In case of a non-medical insured event, upon your return to Latvia, please fill in an application form online at eclaims.eu;

Purchase insurance:
- submit an application to Compensa Vienna Insurance Group online at compensa.lv or by phone 8888;
- submit a receipt or invoice confirming that the product was purchased with a Luminor Black card;
- attach photos of the damaged or stolen item.

Broken and fractured bone insurance:
- submit an application to Compensa Vienna Insurance Group online at compensa.lv or by phone 8888;
- attach X-rays and/or CT scans, MRI scans to the application.

Luminor travel, purchase and broken and fractured bone insurance is provided by Compensa Vienna Insurance Group ADB Latvia Branch, reg. No. 40103942087, Vienibas gatve 87H, Riga.

Optional credit limit – a flexible financial solution

Credit limit on a payment card is an already pre-approved credit amount, available to you any time. This is shown as a positive balance on your card account. Deposit your personal funds or salary into the same account and use Luminor Black as your everyday payment card.

- The minimum credit limit amount is EUR 600.
- If you repay the amount used within 45 days, no interest will be charged.
- Interest applies only to the amount spent and not repaid by the 15th of the following month.
- If you already have a Luminor Black card, apply for credit limit in your internet bank.

(1) The discount is valid for new customers for the first 2 calendar months from the activation of Luminor Black package (if the package is activated within the period 01.06.2025 to 31.08.2025). For the third and next calendar months, the standard package fee (5.50 EUR/month) will be set according to Luminor Price List. The package monthly fee is applied for a calendar month, irrespective of the activation date. The offer is valid until 31.08.2025 or until revoked.
(2) Some ATMs abroad may impose a commission fee, notifying about it on the screen. To withdraw money without a commission fee, please use another ATM network. This fee will be included in the total amount of the cash withdrawal transaction, which may result in exceeding the total Luminor Black free cash withdrawal limit.
(3) Family: children (minors and students up to the age of 24), spouse or cohabiting partner (1+ year of joint household) travelling together with the cardholder.
(4) A customer with an existing Luminor account, applying for the first time for the Luminor Black package and payment card until 31 August 2025, pays EUR 3.50/month for the package for the first three months. The monthly fee is calculated for the entire calendar month, regardless of the application date. From the fourth calendar month onwards, the fee for the package is EUR 5.50/month according to the Luminor price list.
